Paid analysis in authorized centers on the island.

This was denounced by Alberto Farina of the Cisl Pensioners' Federation: "The umpteenth episode of medical malpractice, the payment of the analyzes carried out at private clinics affiliated with the ASL and the regional health service, is unjustifiable".

Episodes took place in Olbia in recent days, but "the serious organizational dysfunction is repeated punctually throughout Sardinia", says the trade unionist, who requests the intervention of the ombudsman, the prefects and the mayors.

The problem would be due to the non-renewal of the agreements.

«From councilor Doria to the youngest usher they know that conventions have a beginning and an end. Even those concerning the medical-health services ensured by the analysis clinics - observes Farina -. If they are not promptly renewed, citizens are forced to choose between paying or giving up or delaying treatment. For the poor it also means deciding whether to give more importance to health or to lunch and dinner. Most Sardinian pensioners live on the relative poverty line, not a few below the absolute poverty line. Two analyzes are enough to put the starving budget of a social pension in the red».
