Sardinian pizza with products from the land of centenarians enters the world top ten, coming seventh at the world championship of pizza ("pizza without frontiers") which was held from 19 to 22 February in Rimini.

The important result was obtained by Kentos di Orroli, thanks to the quality manager Simona Prasciolu who presented the Marzuolo pizza, made with 100% whole durum wheat Senatore Cappelli semolina.

Simona Prasciolu obtained 811 points, first woman in the "pizza in pan" category thanks to a product made with ancient and organic wheat grown in Sardinia by a supply chain of 35 farmers and ground using two stone millstones in Orroli, using a natural mother yeast more than 3 centuries.

«A great satisfaction for Sardinian agriculture - says the director of Coldiretti Nuoro Ogliastra Alessandro Serra -. Our partner Kentos has once again brought the name of agriculture and Sardinia to the top, this time with a 100 percent Sardinian pizza. A symbolic company attentive to tradition and sustainability, which with its products tells and proudly brings its territory to the world».

The Marzuolo pizza is made up of only Sardinian products: in addition to wheat from the Kentos company, there are also raw milk sheep provola, saffron oil, sheep's first salt (callau salliu), "tuber borchii" white truffle from Laconi, culurgiones ai broccoli.
