At the center of the world, like many Italian athletes, dancer Maria Biosa from Turri participated in the evocative opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics, which took place on Friday, February 6th in Milan. Maria Biosa is a classical and modern dance teacher , a profession that has taken her beyond the island to become one of the protagonists of one of the most prestigious international sporting events.
The dancer from Porto Torres , in fact, took part in the cast of the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics at the San Siro stadium in Milan, an internationally renowned event with the artistic direction of Marco Balich and Simone Ferrara , and danced to the choreography by Adriano Bolognino .
Born in 2001, Maria Biosa graduated from the Azuni High School with honors and from the MAS Dance Academy in Milan. She currently teaches dance and has brought her passion to various schools in Milan, Monza, and Vercelli.
The dancer expressed great satisfaction at the opportunity to represent her city in a context that brought together representatives from around the world. It was a proud moment for the entire Turritan community, a testament to how talent, study, and passion can become ambassadors for the region on an international level.
