From what emerged during the investigation, the two women, last summer, had rented an apartment in a tourist resort in the Nuoro area, a base from which, aboard a car hired in Olbia, they went to various inhabited centers of the island in search of houses to plunder. To land the blows without arousing suspicion and ensuring impunity, the two pregnant women tried to blend in with the tourists.
