Arrested twice in less than two weeks. The stay in Oristano is proving to be rather stormy for a 41-year-old of Czechoslovakian origin. Two weeks ago he was arrested by the police because he had bothered the customers of a bar and then attacked the officers.
Now the scene has repeated itself almost identically: Roman Proken, homeless, was causing problems for some passers-by on via Brunelleschi on Saturday morning. Accomplice a few too many drinks, the man was becoming more and more threatening so the intervention of the police was called. Shortly after, the patrol officers tracked him down on via XX Settembre as he was about to attack another person. At the sight of the police, he also lunged at them and there was a fight (the officers suffered minor injuries).
At that point the 41-year-old was arrested and taken to prison in Massama. Today in Court, Judge Cristiana Argiolas validated the arrest while the 41-year-old, assisted by the lawyer Pierluigi Meloni, pleaded guilty to a sentence of 5 months and 10 days. He was released (he is required to sign from the previous conviction) and tomorrow he should leave Italy.
