Condolences in Piscinas for the death of Matteo Cossu , who died yesterday in an accident on the 293 , at the entrance to the town.

The 43-year-old was well-known in the town: "I express my condolences to the family," said Mayor Giacomo Bachis . "Matteo leaves behind a 23-year-old son; this is a terrible tragedy for the family and the town. I want to emphasize the danger of state highway 293, especially given the presence of two bridges where the road narrows, creating a hazard . Cossu was driving along the highway toward Giba when, just before the narrow bridge often reported by mayors as dangerous, his car skidded. He lightly struck a Sky technician's van traveling in the opposite direction and ended up in the ditch.
