His accomplice, the 26-year-old Samuele Scanu from Sassari, will be judged with an abbreviated procedure .
On the evening of March 30, 2023, just before closing time, the two entered the optical shop and, while one distracted the owner, the other put a pair of glasses worth 510 euros in his pocket . The owner, realizing the theft, chased the two, reaching them after a few meters to ask for the return of the stolen goods.
Scanu, according to what the investigators ascertained, passed a knife to the accomplice who threatened the merchant. "If you don't leave me, I'll kill you," he said, before fleeing.
The police immediately intervened on the spot, immediately arresting Scanu and identifying his accomplice.
