On the scooter for disabled people "trapped" in traffic on the 131: rescue by the Traffic Police

The Sanluri Traffic Police rescued an elderly man, who was traveling along Carlo Felice on a scooter for disabled people, in obvious difficulty.

The vehicle he was traveling in was noticed by other motorists, who, worried about the heavy traffic, alerted the emergency switchboard.

Then a patrol intervened, with the officers managing to intercept the vehicle at km 32, in the direction of Cagliari, near the Villagreca intersection.

At that point the elderly man - who repeatedly thanked the policemen who acted as "angels" for him - was taken to safety and then escorted home.
