In the Romanian Orthodox church, inaugurated last year, today is the Day of Gratitude, a religious event that is celebrated in conjunction with the autumn solstice.

The entire Orthodox community of Olbia, born ten years ago, gathered in the parish, led by Father Marian Gâinâ, to give thanks to God for the abundance of each year's harvest.

Fruits and legumes donated from the fields were brought by the faithful to the church built in the San Nicola area , in Olbia, to be blessed. This was followed by a convivial celebration that lasted all day.
