Davide Rossi, the 36-year-old from Olbia, who has stopped giving news to his family since the morning of anti-Christmas Eve, would have been overwhelmed and killed by a truck.
Relatives, worried, reported his disappearance to the police. And the carabinieri of the territorial department of Olbia and the agents of the police station of the Gallura city immediately started the searches, which after hours led to the discovery of the lifeless body of the man, along the State Road 127.
The investigations conducted so far, as mentioned, suggest that the 36-year-old was hit by a heavy vehicle, in Putzolu, on the road that leads from Olbia to Tempio.
The suspicions focused on a truck that had returned to the construction site earlier in the day with a strange dent. Just retracing the route taken by the vehicle, the body was found, which after the collision would have been thrown into a bush.
The investigations of the police are now continuing to shed full light on the dramatic story.
