The "Sardegna Terra di Nuraghi" association, formerly "La Sardegna verso l'UNESCO," is ready to launch a new series of meetings and conferences that will span the island from September 4th to December 7th , with a rich and varied calendar. The "Dialogues of Nuraghi" project will feature 55 events, spread across 42 municipalities, 456 supporting associations, and 47 speakers.

The project was presented today in the conference room of the Fondazione di Sardegna, where, in addition to Carlo Mannoni, Director General of the Fondazione di Sardegna, who opened the event with institutional greetings, Andrea Dettori spoke on behalf of the Sardinia Region.

"We have before us a comprehensive project that fully captures the meaning of cultural heritage, which is the legacy of our ancestors and what identifies us as a community," emphasized Andrea Dettori, chief of staff for the Councilor for Education and Cultural Heritage Ilaria Portas, who was absent due to urgent commitments.

Pierpaolo Vargiu, president of the Sardinia Terra di Nuraghi Association, stated: "Sardinia possesses a unique asset: the Nuragic civilization and its monuments. Our challenge is to transform this uniqueness into the strongest and most recognizable element of the Sardinia brand, combining the extraordinary image of the island's connection to the sea and the environment with the story of a great Mediterranean civilization, capable of distinguishing us from any other place in the world, generating value in the territories, new business opportunities, and skilled employment."

Alongside the "Nuragic Dialogues" project , the "Seen Up Close" initiative was presented: five events are scheduled this year, allowing the public to observe the sites alongside the specialists who study them.

It begins on October 3rd with a visit to the Sant'Imbenia Complex in Alghero, on October 10th a stop at the Nuraghe Is Paras, in the municipality of Isili, on the 17th in Carbonia at the Nuragic site of Sirai, while on the 31st it will be the turn of the Nuraghe Diana, in Quartu Sant'Elena, and finally on November 7th in the territory of Fonni a visit to the Sanctuary of Gremanu.
