The Nuoro prosecutor's office opened an investigation into the accident at work that cost the life of Salvatore Santeddu, 54, yesterday .
In the file of the prosecutor Giorgio Bocciarelli the alleged crime is manslaughter and two people are under investigation , including the owner of the company for which the victim was doing an internship.
An autopsy has not been ordered , there will only be an external examination by the coroner to ascertain the nature of the injuries.
Santeddu was about to finish his internship in Lariso, a cooperative for the reintegration of former prisoners. He died crushed by the van he was repairing in a farm in Nuoro, along the road that leads from Preda Istrada to Lollove.
According to an initial reconstruction, the worker was under the vehicle when the brakes, for a reason yet to be ascertained, released and the van started moving, crushing it under the wheel .
