Hundreds of people are currently paying homage, in the funeral home of the San Francesco hospital in Nuoro, to the director of the Badu 'e Carros prison Patrizia Incollu .
The 57-year-old woman had been in a coma for twelve days after the accident on 19 October on the Nuoro-Lanusei. Penitentiary officer Peppino Fois died in the terrible crash. Last Tuesday Incollu's condition worsened, and in the evening he was confirmed to be brain dead. The director donated the organs : «It was a gesture of great generosity on the part of Patrizia and her family», said the head of the intensive care unit Peppino Paffi, «which will allow some people to start a new life. Organ donation remains and will always be the most noble gesture that can be made in a moment of great pain."
Patrizia Incollu's funeral will be celebrated tomorrow morning, at 11, in the church of San Giuseppe in Sassari .
