A day of bad weather is putting the city of Nuoro to the test, with strong winds that have caused several inconveniences and damage in various neighborhoods. The Fire Department has been engaged in numerous interventions to secure the affected areas.

One of the first interventions took place in via Sant'Antioco, where the wind caused damage to the roof of a condominium, causing some tiles to fall.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported, but the firefighters intervened immediately to remove the unsafe tiles and secure the building. In the afternoon, the firefighters were also called to Via Aosta, where a tree was uprooted by the force of the wind and fell onto the street, creating problems for traffic. The teams worked to remove the trunk and restore traffic flow, avoiding further inconvenience.

In these hours, the Fire Department is once again at work in via Oggiano, in the Nuraghe district, where the wind caused some glass to break, ending up on the road below. The intervention is aimed at securing the area and preventing the risk of injuries, while the operators are taking care of removing the glass fragments from the roadway.
