A day dedicated to a crucial figure for the culture not only of Sassari. Tuesday from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm the National Archaeological and Ethnographic Museum “Sanna” of Sassari hosts the Study Day on Giovanni Antonio Sanna. Free admission, subject to availability.
The second event in the calendar of initiatives planned for the 150th anniversary of Sanna's death is organized in collaboration with the 'Quiteria' Association and with the patronage of the Municipality of Sassari .
During the works, experts and scholars, with a series of interventions and the contribution of exponents of the world of culture, will illustrate the figure of Giovanna Antonio Sanna, entrepreneur, publisher, banker, politician, patron and collector of art objects and antiquities, fundamental for the construction of the identity and the recovery of the historical memory of the territory, who left an important legacy to her city, and will tell the story and places of her family, the roots and the historical context in which she operated.
