Monserrato, assault on the distributor: thieves put to flight by the alarm

Shot in a petrol station on state 387 that leads from Monserrato to Dolianova. Using a truck as a battering ram, the thieves attempted to tear down the self-service cash register of a petrol station. However, they were put on the run by the alarm system, with the criminals walking away leaving the van in place as well.

The carabinieri of Monserrato and Quartu are dealing with the affair, and have launched investigations.

The criminals probably acted after midnight and the thieves almost certainly escaped in a car.
