Accepting the request of the Attorney General Luigi Patronaggio, the judges of the second instance confirmed the maximum sentence, with also daytime isolation for 4 months.
When the sentence was read, the defendant put his hands on his head in desperation and shouted: "What must I do to make you understand that I have nothing to do with it?". Next to him the lawyer Teresa Camoglio who fought throughout the process to avoid the life sentence for her client. A penalty which, on the other hand, had been requested not only by the prosecution, but also by the lawyers of the civil parties, Patrizio Rovelli and Fabrizio Rubiu.
The murder, according to the prosecution, would have been carried out for a drug-related debt. The boy's body has never been found, despite the many searches carried out by the carabinieri. Fabio Serventi lived with his grandparents in Is Ergois, in the countryside of Perdaxius. On the day of the disappearance he would have left the house with slippers on his feet, since then there has been no more news.
The investigators then arrived at Andrea Pinna following the trail of some passages of the victim's scooter. To nail it a series of interceptions in which the 36-year-old himself would have admitted to friends that he had killed Minions. In tears, the mother of the missing boy who, after the sentence, nevertheless launched an appeal for the defendant to find at least the body of her son.
