A maxi anti-drug operation involving mainly Sardinia and Piedmont but also the provinces of Rome, Pescara and Varese, has been underway since the first light of the day. In action the carabinieri of the Cagliari investigative unit, with the colleagues of the competent Commands for the territory and together with Cacciatori di Sardegna, canine units and 11th Helicopter Unit of Elmas, who are carrying out 19 precautionary measures (partly in prison and partly under house arrest ), as well as 60 search decrees issued by the investigating judge of the Cagliari court at the request of the local prosecutor.

On the island the activities take place in the Cagliari and Oristano areas.
