A fishing boat moored in the small port of Marina Piccola , in Cagliari, was in danger of sinking . Around 10.30 pm yesterday, the Fire Brigade of the Diving Unit, the Nautical Unit and a ground team from the port city detachment intervened to make the sinking vessel safe.
The operators stabilized and re-floated the boat that was lying on its side with the help of lifting balloons. Subsequently, after having sucked the water that entered the hull, they proceeded to restore the safety conditions.

The surgery ended after one o'clock. The operations were carried out by informing the Coast Guard on the evolution of the situation.
