Macomer, Carnival parade with Sardinian and Trentino masks

A great fashion show, in Macomer, on Saturday 4 February, opens Su Carrasegare in Macumere.

Guests of honor a group representing the traditional masks of Trentino Alto Adige. These are the Krampos, who will parade next Saturday alongside the traditional masks of the island, such as the Mamuthones and Issohadores of Mamoiada, S'Urthu and Buttudos of Fonni, Sos Traigolzos of SIndia, S'attitidu of Bosa, S'Ainu Orriadore of Scano Ontiferro, Sos Giagnates si Sennori, Sos corriolos of Neoneli, Sos Tumbarinos of Gavoi, then the traditional mask of Macomer, Donna Zenobia.

The appointment is scheduled for next Saturday in the ancient Piazza di Santa Croce, in the historic centre, at 16.30.

The procession will parade in via Eleonora d'Arborea and then in corso Umberto, to end in the large piazza Caduti sul Lavoro, where there will be a large zeppolata and party for everyone, with the participation of the singer Maria Giovanna Cherchi, godmother of the event. For the occasion, curated by the Esedra cooperative and the Tour Operators of beyond the Tyrrhenian Sea, there will be guided tours of the monuments of the area, with the tasting of typical dishes of the Macomera carnival, with the participation of the city restaurants that have joined the initiative.

The event is organized by the Pro-Loco, the Esedra cooperative, the Donna Zenobia association, the Maart association and with the participation of other associations and traders of the town, as well as the Municipality.
