The Province has allocated 150 thousand euros for the definitive arrangement of the S'adde viaduct , an extension of the 129 Nuoro Macomer state road, the gateway to the capital of Marghine from all over the Nuoro area.

This was announced by the extraordinary commissioner of the Province, Costantino Tidu, during a phone call with the mayor of Macomer, Riccardo Uda.

The resources made available by the Province are primarily used to replace the expansion joints, which have been deteriorating for some years and which broke definitively last January, forcing the Province to carry out a buffer operation, temporarily arranging the plates at the beginning and at the end of the span, which themselves have deteriorated.

Both the president of the Union of Municipalities, Gian Pietro Arca, and the mayor of Macomer, Riccardo Uda, have urged immediate intervention by the Province , so that new inconveniences are not created, perhaps with the umpteenth closure of the bridge and with the diversion of the traffic, lengthening the journey by about ten kilometres.

«Commissioner Tidu has informed us of the funding of 150,000 euros for the definitive arrangement - says Riccardo Uda - but the deteriorated sheet metal will also be arranged immediately, which had been provisionally placed last February, pending an intervention definitive".

The president of the Union of Municipalities, Gian Pietro Arca, instead asks that the construction site for the definitive arrangement be "started in a short time".
