The problem, real, for a dozen beach kiosk owners and others, present between the islands of Maddalena and Caprera, highlighted by the sensational protest of an operator who chained herself to the door of the town hall in recent days, had raised a controversy, even political, that had invested the municipal administration, accused of delays in sending the Vinca to the Sardinia Region, which was approved by the latter only last June 6.

This has led to the lack of authorization to open for those businesses that provide table service (while, as clarified by the trade councilor, Stefania Terrazzoni, there is no objection for those that provide takeaway services).

A letter has now arrived from the lawyer Pier Paolo Olivieri, «on behalf of the owners of kiosks operating in the La Maddalena-Caprera area». The lawyer writes: « Without prejudice to the right of each person to express their opinion as they see fit, it seems right to highlight that the aforementioned category has received maximum support from the Municipal Administration of La Maddalena, to whom we owe our dutiful thanks, in order to obtain not a simple extension of the previous VincA, but a regulatory instrument of environmental impact “ex novo” » .

But not only that, continues the lawyer Olivieri, « through discussions and full collaboration with the National Park Authority of La Maddalena as well as the SVA of the Sardinia Region, a provision has been obtained that will allow the exercise of the respective commercial activities for the next 5 years with due serenity and compliance with the reference regulations » . The letter concludes with the statement that « we take the right distance from any other instrumentalization and/or dissent that has been reported in the past few days » .
