One arrest, two complaints, 17 searches on the loose and 22 people under investigation. This is the outcome of the maxi anti-drug raid carried out by the Sassari police, in the city and in the hinterland. The operations were carried out as part of an investigation coordinated by the Prosecutor's Office and started in 2021.

Staff from the Sassari Police Headquarters, the police stations of Ozieri, Alghero, Tempio Pausania, the Sardinia Crime Prevention Department of Abbasanta and dog units of the State Police took part in the operations. Specifically, a man was arrested who was found in possession of marijuana, ketamine, a kit for manufacturing the narcotic and 25 thousand euros in cash, probable proceeds of the illicit activity. The judge ordered him under house arrest.

Two other people were reported, the first because he was found in possession of cocaine and packaging material, the second because he had several packages of doping substances without a medical prescription. The operation of recent days is part of an investigation that began in 2021.

The 22 suspects in various capacities will have to answer in competition with each other for the crimes of possession and dealing of narcotic and psychotropic substances. According to investigators, the criminal group ran a thriving narcotics market.
