The Tirrenia ship landed this morning in the port of Porto Torres three hours late. The bad weather, during the night, created many difficulties for the Athara ferry which braved the waves and the strong storms passing through the Strait of Bonifacio, one of the most insidious and dangerous stretches of sea that divides Sardinia from Corsica.

Departed last night from the port of Genoa, according to the scheduled time, in the night it crossed the strait, on the border between Italy and France, facing the force 7 sea, a prison of waves, wind and currents that make the journey of ships difficult. The arrival at the western pier, as planned, was easier. The calm sea and the reduced intensity of the winds favored the entry, at 10, into the Turritano seaport.

Regular arrivals of cargo ships landed in the Asi wharf of the industrial port. The Tirrenia ship, again due to adverse weather conditions, yesterday morning had been diverted to Olbia from which it had left its moorings for Genoa.
