Eleven boys out of eleven present. Speakers, mayors, teachers, presidents of professional associations, experts. And the moderator too. There is not a woman today in Sassari , in the headquarters of the Chamber of Commerce, to talk about "Zes, opportunities and development prospects".
To underline the (total) gender imbalance is the municipal councilor of Palazzo Ducale Carla Fundoni, exponent of the Democratic Party. Surgeon, specialized in Radiotherapy and infectious diseases, looks at the poster of the event and comments: “But are they special economic zones or special anatomical zones? Once again, women are excluded from the debate ”, she underlines, to conclude bitterly:“ Opportunities and prospects for development? Already…".
The opening of the works is entrusted to the president of the Northern Sardinia Chamber of Commerce, Stefano Visconti. Nanni Campus, Mario Conoci and Massimo Mulas (first citizens of Sassari, Alghero and Porto Torres) will bring their greetings. Then it will be the turn of Pietro Fois, extraordinary administrator of the Province.
Followed by Valerio Scanu (industrial consortium), Massimo Deiana (port authority) and Marco Scanu (order of accountants). The interventions of the university professors Omar Chessa and Aldo Berlinguer are foreseen. For the closing there is the extraordinary commissioner of Zes Sardinia, Aldo Cadau.
