The Lussurgesi gathered around an event rich in emotion and meaning yesterday, Monday, December 22nd : the living nativity scene created by the children of the elementary school. A sacred representation of the Nativity that combined tradition, creativity, and participation: a moment of authentic sharing.

The young protagonists, with enthusiasm and spontaneity, brought to life the characters of the Nativity: Mary and Joseph, the shepherds, the angels, and the Three Kings, wearing the garments of ancient Judea, meticulously crafted by their families with the help of their teachers. The young students from all classes, guided by their teachers and supported by their families, created an open-air stage, reenacting ancient crafts and scenes from social and artisanal life. The fifth-grade classes portrayed the central characters of the Nativity, while songs, music, LIS pieces, and the participation of the community made the event particularly moving and inclusive.

The living nativity scene was both a scenic representation and an important educational experience. Through preparing for the event, the students were able to deepen their understanding of the meaning of Christmas, rediscovering fundamental values such as solidarity, peace, and mutual respect. Working together fostered collaboration among the children, strengthening their sense of teamwork and belonging to the school community.
