Worried and anxious during the control by the Carabinieri of Bonorva, he aroused suspicion in the military who decided to deepen the investigations, which then ended with the arrest of the young man.
The patrol stopped the car driven by a 42-year-old from Bono along the provincial road between his town and Bonorva. The strange behavior prompted the carabinieri to carry out a search and 10 heat-sealed bags containing high quality dried marijuana inflorescences were found in the car, for a total of 5.3 kilos. Ready for sale, the substance - if placed on the market - would have yielded a few tens of thousands of euros.
Once arrested, the 42-year-old was subjected to the validation hearing and placed under house arrest.
