The barracelli of Alghero found and seized a longline of about 300 meters anchored on the seabed of the protected marine area of Capo Caccia , within the so-called "B" area, which is a general reserve. It is a fishing tool consisting of a long line to which other pieces of thinner line with respective hooks are hooked.

The barracelli , with the personnel of the marine area have released numerous sea bream and bream still alive that had taken the bait on the hooks.

The fishing tackle, placed in a completely illegal way, has been seized and now attempts are being made to trace the owners responsible for poaching.
