Helicopter rescue at the Zoboli stadium: the match between Carbonia and Sant'Elena suspended
The problem of the absence of an adequate heliport resurfaces
Once again the problem of the absence of an adequate heliport in the city emerges: this evening too, in fact, the arrival of the air ambulance at the Zoboli stadium in Carbonia forced the suspension of the Eccellenza championship match which was played by Carbonia and Quartu Sant' Elena.
The arrival of the aircraft, arriving from Buggerru, occurred during the interval between the first and second half but the match resumed with almost a quarter of an hour's delay to allow the ambulance to transfer the patient and to the police to guarantee safety conditions.
The players on the field and the referees waited for all the operations to be concluded before resuming the game which was clearly not compatible with the landing and take-off phases. The square that was initially indicated near the Sirai hospital has no longer been used for years.
