A heat bubble of southern tropical origin is making the days in Sardinia suffocating and for the next few days not even the entrance of the mistral will bring a minimum of relief.

According to weather experts, in fact, temperatures will not fall below 37-38 degrees and in some areas they will even reach 41.

"On Thursday we will have the peak of the heat - announce the meteorologists of the Air Force Weather Office of Decimomannu - and the maximum temperatures are expected to increase, especially in the flat internal areas. We are talking about the central Campidano, but also in the plains of Nuoro and in Goceano, where temperatures could reach 40 or 41 degrees".

The regional Civil Protection has already issued a warning bulletin for high temperatures . In the following days a bit of mistral will enter, "but the situation - warns the Weather Office - will remain unchanged, perhaps without reaching the peaks of the next 24 hours but still with temperatures always very high".

The mistral, in fact, could have a boomerang effect: crossing very hot areas it could bring further heat . The winds will then turn to breeze, particularly strong on Friday in the western part of the island. Scorching heat is also expected for next week, the situation will remain unchanged with temperatures between 37 and 38 degrees.
