Two people were injured in a serious road accident that occurred today shortly after 11:30 along the provincial road that connects Siniscola to La Caletta . The impact, head-on, involved a Peugeot and a Ford.

According to initial reconstructions, the Peugeot was thrown off the road following the impact . The causes of the collision are still being ascertained.

The Highway Police, Fire Brigade and several 118 ambulances promptly intervened on the scene . The injured were rushed to the San Francesco hospital in Nuoro . Their conditions are not yet known.
