An employee of the Eurospin in Viale Monsignor Virgilio di Tortolì was arrested for stealing from the store .
The thirty-year-old resident of Girasole, apparently recovering from illness, with the shop already closed to the public, reached him with an accomplice and entered the hypermarket with the key, loading the stolen goods onto a car.
Police tracked down and arrested the 30-year-old as he tried to hide in an agricultural field about 500 meters away. Even his accomplice, who managed to get away, has already been identified by the operators.
Dozens of bottles of oil and food alcohol recovered, for an amount of approximately 1,200 euros . The subsequent search of the thirty-year-old's home made it possible to find a large quantity of new goods, still sealed, whose theft had been reported by the manager of that same Eurospin store.
