Half naked, shouting rambling phrases and meaningless speeches, a man threatened and attacked all passers-by . Those who approached him and also the farthest away, chasing them and throwing at them all the objects that could be found in their hands.
The events took place on Friday at 10 pm in the square of Porto Frailis .
The carabinieri of the Aliquota Radiomobile and of the Lanusei Squadron rushed to the scene, alerted by the numerous calls to 112. The soldiers, with many difficulties and also availing themselves of the help of some citizens present , managed to stop the man and bring him in the offices of the Command.
The protagonist of the crazy evening is a 51 year old originally from Sassari , who is in Ogliastra as a seasonal worker. Even in the barracks the man did not calm down and it also took the intervention of the medical staff to calm him and prevent him from hurting himself, given the continuous gestures of self-harm.
Sedated with great difficulty, the 51-year-old was taken to Lanusei prison .
