The lawyer Giulia Bongiorno asked that her client be heard in the courtroom using the methods of a protected hearing. The request from the lawyer of the alleged victim of the gang rape, dating back to the night between 16 and 17 July 2019 in Porto Cervo, arrives after numerous unfiltered hearings at the Tempio Palace of Justice, for which Ciro Grillo is in the dock. The request may also have been presented to avoid the very heavy pressure to which the young woman was subjected during her latest testimonies.
The court only partially accepted the request: it granted a screen, a black cloth, which will hide the young woman from the sight of those present. But otherwise the proceedings will continue without further exceptions.
