Marijuana, LSD and some cannabis plants. These are the narcotic substances found inside the home, in Arzachena, of Michele Fresi, the 27-year-old who killed his father Giovanni, a 58-year-old goldsmith, with a stick on the night of December 28th.

The house of the young man - currently imprisoned in the Bancali prison on charges of aggravated murder, resisting a public official and causing injury - was searched again by the Carabinieri of the Olbia territorial department, seizing the drugs, which the 27-year-old allegedly took in massive quantities even on the evening of the crime.

An initial search was ordered by the public prosecutor's office of Tempio Pausania and carried out on 11 January by the Carabinieri of the Ris of Cagliari also looking for possible traces of blood.

Already after the arrest Michele Fresi, assisted by the lawyer Pierfranco Tirotto , had confessed to having used acids and other narcotic substances on the evening of the fatal attack on his father and had explained that he had been prey to hallucinations to the point of seeing phantoms « aliens."

For the defense this is a significant aspect, which could suggest Fresi's mental and psychological instability, closely linked to his substance abuse.
