The old lady passed away yesterday, shortly after 8 pm. She had turned 100 last November 28, while she was a guest at Casa Pirarba, where she entertained the other patients with stories and tales and sewed the uniforms of the operators.

Until a few days ago, before she returned to her home in Girasole, as she had done from time to time since she was in Arzana, she had kept her mind trained with crosswords. The conditions of the little old lady, good until two weeks ago, worsened on Tuesday afternoon .

She was originally from Argentiera , a hamlet on the outskirts of Sassari where she lived until 2007 before moving to her children in Girasole. We will treasure her teachings. We are close to her family", said the owners of Casa Pirarba.
