It is pain that adds to pain that grips the families of Giacomo Desogus and Matthias Steri , the two twenty-eight year olds from Quartu who died on Sunday evening during a hunting trip in the countryside of Santu Lianu.

The dynamics of the tragedy seem clear: inseparable friends since forever, who went out with a single rifle legally owned by Desogus, one of the two accidentally killed the other and, shocked by what had just happened, took his own life by pointing the gun at himself. What is not clear to the investigators - the Carabinieri of the Quartu company - is who died first. The answer will only come from the autopsy, which the Prosecutor's Office has entrusted to the coroner Roberto Demontis.

A reconstruction necessary for the minutes. Which will not be of any use to the families of these two young people who left too soon. This is not about seeking justice, but only mourning.

"Give us the strength to overcome this great pain," ask the relatives of Giacomo Desogus on the black-bordered posters, "now that you are an angel of the Lord." "You will be our angel," write those who loved Matthias Steri. Families who for now cannot even say their last goodbyes to their boys, who died too soon.
