Towards Paris also in the winter months: not only in summer, the Costa Smeralda will be connected to Paris Orly also in winter with two weekly frequencies.

Already active during the summer season, the connection that will connect Olbia with the French capital all year round will be guaranteed by the Spanish low-cost airline Volotea which is aiming for deseasonalization in one of its strategic bases, already started with the route to Barcelona.

"The connection, for the first time, will also be available in winter: this is a significant innovation within our deseasonalization strategy, which aims to guarantee a continuous service to and from Sardinia throughout the year", said Volotea's international marker director, Valeria Rebasti.

"The extension of the connection with Paris Orly also during the winter season represents a concrete sign of the shared commitment with Volotea in the deseasonalization of the Northern Sardinia network. It is an important step to guarantee continuity in international connections and offer new opportunities to both residents and tourists interested in discovering Sardinia also in the other season. With this new winter flight from Olbia, which joins the recent summer innovations to/from Alghero, the strategic role of Northern Sardinia within the Volotea network is strengthened and the value of a collaboration that looks with vision and concreteness to the development of the territory is confirmed", added the CEO of Geasar, Silvio Pippobello.
