A 29-year-old Senegalese with a police history was arrested yesterday in Cagliari by agents of the Flying Squad of the Police Headquarters because he was responsible for obscene acts, resistance, violence and threats to a public official.

The request for intervention arrived at 113 around 14 from Piazza Deffenu.

The 29-year-old, while he was sitting on a bench in the square, at the sight of a woman who made her children play would have lowered her pants and would have, according to the reconstructions, addressed vulgar and obscene phrases expressing sexual appreciation.

These phrases were heard by the woman's husband and brother.

The first to intervene to make the 29-year-old stop was the brother who, in response, received punches and kicks, as well as the husband who intervened to help his brother-in-law. At this point, the help of the Police was requested, which intervened by blocking the foreigner.

Despite the presence of the policemen who invited him to assume a respectful attitude towards the woman, also given the presence of the children and other children who played in the square, the man continued in his violent and threatening attitude so that the agents, after having put him in a position not to harm, they made him get into the service vehicle to accompany him to the police station. Even in these offices he continued to have a violent and threatening attitude.

The foreigner was then arrested for resistance, violence, threats and obscene acts, he was also denounced for the crime of beatings.

In the morning there will be a validation hearing with direct rite.
