Fire in Carbonia, flames threaten gardens and garages: families evacuated

Fiery afternoon in the Serbariu neighborhood of Carbonia, where a fire that broke out around 2 pm is currently being cleared out.
The flames, driven by the wind, quickly reached vegetable gardens, gardens and garages until they licked houses , some of which were evacuated as a precaution.
On site were the firefighters, civil protection volunteers, carabinieri and municipal police who closed via Santa Caterina to traffic.
