Fear in Ittiri due to the fire of a moving car.

The timely intervention of the firefighters of the provincial command of Sassari avoided the worst. It happened around 6 pm, when the diesel-powered car, while it was in motion, for reasons yet to be ascertained, caught fire.

The driver immediately got out of the car after pulling over to the sidewalks on Via Turati. The teams extinguished the flames trying to limit the damage to the car and the surrounding area.

Luckily, no one was injured. The Carabinieri of the local station and the municipal police of Ittiri also intervened on the scene. The area was secured.
