Farewell to Kikko Ruffi, who helped field hockey grow in Sardinia

Farewell to Kikko Ruffi, for many years a protagonist with managerial roles in the world of field hockey . He linked his name to the growth of Cus Cagliari of which he was a passionate and appreciated manager. He taught Physical Education and promoted hockey in schools.

He had undertaken a spiritual journey with the Neocatechumenal movement which led him to live for several years in Spain.

Journalist Giancarlo Ghirra remembers him on social media: "I can't believe we won't see each other every summer morning (not only) on the Poetto beach, chatting, arguing about political events, despairing over the most banal football issues, talking (with affection) about our friends near and far. I will continue to see him in the water of Poetto while he goes fishing for octopuses or walks with Francesco for hours, always engaged in endless chats ." The last farewell on Friday in the Parish of Vergine della Salute (Poetto) on Friday 27 December, at 3 pm.
