A nightmare Erasmus. The trial against a 25-year-old and a 24-year-old from Sassari, accused of threatening a 26-year-old non-Sardinian with whom they had lived last year in a study abroad project, opened yesterday in court in Sassari before judge Valentina Nuvoli.

According to the charges, the two, in the house they shared for several months in a country of the European Community, would have humiliated the young man several times by locking him in the bathroom and keeping him in the dark, or threatened him with kitchen knives, saying things like "don't move or it will get in". They would then hit him with the roll of aluminum foil, and would put a strawberry or other objects in the lock of his room, or laid a mannequin made of garbage bags and water bottles on the bed of the injured party.

And in the WhatsApp chat of the three they allegedly insulted him several times, calling him a “loser and frustrated”. The defense lawyers of the two defendants are Giacomo Luca Barrocu and Arianna Denule.
