He ended up under house arrest, in precautionary custody, on charges of embezzlement and fraud.
The head doctor of the Urology department of the Santissima Trinità hospital and university professor, Antonello De Lisa, 64 years old, one of the luminaries of the discipline and an internationally renowned doctor, is under investigation by the Prosecutor's Office for having carried out intramoenia services, if not completely of a private nature, in the clinic located within the department, but without paying the health company what is due to the public.
The investigation is entrusted to the public prosecutor Nicola Giua Marassi who has delegated the carabinieri of the Anti-adulteration Unit, led by Major Nadia Gioviale. De Lisa had been suspended from the hospital profession in recent weeks.
