«Air fares are rising again in view of the upcoming Easter holidays» .

This was reported by Adiconsum Sardegna , which monitored ticket prices for flights from the main Italian cities to the island's airports.

«If you are ready to fly even at inconvenient times such as early in the morning or late in the evening, leaving on Friday 29 March and returning after Easter Monday, Tuesday 2 April, the absolute highest fares are for the Bologna-Cagliari route, where the cost of a return flight starts from a minimum of 467 euros ", underlines a note from Adiconsum. «If you leave from Milan and choose Linate as your departure and return port - adds the association - the ticket to Cagliari on the same dates costs at least 387 euros for the return trip (203 euros from Malpensa) . To reach Alghero flying from Bologna you need a minimum of 237 euros."

And again: «If you leave from Rome you pay at least 156 euros for a return trip to Cagliari, 154 euros to Alghero; 192 euros from Milan Linate to Alghero".

«Here we go again, the phenomenon of high flight prices is back once again – denounces President Giorgio Vargiu – With the holidays approaching, ticket prices are increasing hour by hour, as a consequence of the greater demand from citizens who intend to spend Easter on the island. A problem which, unfortunately, currently appears without a solution, and which, in addition to damaging citizens' pockets, has a negative impact on local tourism and on the many businesses operating in Sardinia ."
