Drunk (repeat offender) driving a truck on the Sassari-Olbia road
The driver had no license, already revoked because he had drunk too much. On the same state road two motorists were traveling at 172 and 181 km/h: stuck with the telelaserHe was driving a tractor-trailer. Drunk. And without his license, which had been revoked because he had already been caught behind the wheel after drinking too much. The driver was stopped in recent days on the Sassari-Olbia road by the Sassari traffic police as part of intense checks on the extra-urban roads of northern Sardinia.
On the same state road, two motorists were immortalized with the Telelaser and fined for speeding: the first was traveling at a speed of 172 km/h. Once stopped, officers discovered he had no driving licence. The second was going at 181 km/h and is also penalized for speeding with immediate withdrawal of his driving licence.
In the last month alone, the Road Traffic Authority of the province of Sassari has withdrawn 53 licenses for driving while intoxicated, contested 102 violations for speeding with the consequent withdrawal of 32 licenses, 15 violations for driving without a license, raised 41 fines against drivers who used cell phones while driving
Furthermore, 79 drivers without insurance coverage were fined.
