About fifty vehicles, including tractors and pick ups, marching on State Road 131 DCN to shine a spotlight on the consequences of the water crisis that is bringing breeders and farmers to their knees.

Starting from Trudda, a hamlet of Loiri Porto San Paolo on the outskirts of Olbia, towards Budoni, the mobilization organized by Coldiretti Nord Sardegna travels thirty kilometers to raise the alarm about the drought emergency (also) on the eastern coast of the island, including Gallura , starting from Palau and up to San Teodoro, centers from which breeders and farmers moved at dawn.

«Immediately, we ask for emergency interventions to promptly resolve the criticality of the water supply for watering animals and for fodder and then a strategic structural intervention on the reservoirs and distribution networks», says the contact person for Olbia of Coldiretti Nord Sardegna and president of the Gallura Reclamation Consortium, Marco Marrone.
