Discomfort also at the airport due to the poor visibility of the runway: four Ryanair flights, coming from Bergamo, Verona, Turin and Cuneo, were diverted to Alghero .
Problems that are also having repercussions on departures, given that the same planes would then have to leave for other destinations: six flights delayed at Cagliari airport (Bergamo, Venice, Rome Fiumicino, Rome Ciampino, London Gatwick and Carcassonne).
The fog, which arose late, affected the western part of the capital, in particular Santa Gilla.
The phenomenon is the effect of high pressure added to the record temperatures recorded in these days in Sardinia. Yesterday it reached 34 degrees , a heat that should persist at least until next weekend.
