Covid, in Sardinia 1,190 cases and 5 deaths in 24 hours. Hospitalizations are increasing

Covid infections slightly down in Sardinia, even if the cases recorded in the last 24 hours remain above one thousand.

On the other hand, the number of hospitalized people returns to rise, while with just under 10 thousand swabs performed the positivity rate remains at 12%. Five deaths.

Here is the full bulletin released by the Region on Friday 4 March 2022.

"In Sardinia there are now 1190 further confirmed cases of COVID positivity (of which 925 diagnosed as antigenic). A total of 9705 swabs were processed, including molecular and antigenic.

The patients admitted to the intensive care units are 29 (+3).

The patients admitted to the medical area are 327 (+6).

24792 are the cases of home isolation (-1166).

There are 5 deaths: 2 men aged 85 and 95, residing in the Metropolitan City of Cagliari; 1 101-year-old woman and 1 78-year-old man residing in the province of Oristano and an 88-year-old man residing in the province of Nuoro ".
