There are 62,187 Sardinians over 50 who have not yet vaccinated themselves against the coronavirus despite the obligation contained in the decree of 8 January last. And from tomorrow they risk a 100 euro penalty.

In large part, according to data from the Ministry of Health, they fall within the age group between 50 and 69 years, the one that from 15 February - excluding those who are already retired - will no longer be able to use the tampon and in the workplace must show the reinforced Green pass, attributable only with the vaccine or with the recovery from the virus. And if the employer does not check, he risks a fine from 400 to one thousand euros; for the employee, an additional fine ranging from 600 to 1,500 euros.

In the last few weeks in Sardinia just under 20 thousand people have undergone the first dose and half belong to the 50-69 age group, probably due to the tightening of compulsory work. Furthermore, from tomorrow the validity of the reinforced Green pass drops for everyone from 9 to 6 months, this means that those who received the second dose of vaccine in September and have not yet done the third will soon find themselves without a green certificate: therefore no bar , restaurant, gym, cinema, theater and means of transport.
